Kirabaru

Kirabaru was once a glorious and rich mining town that supplied metals and stone to the cities of Sambuor, Rangwei and the towns in the surrounding area before the Necrotic war. It has taken the last fifteen years for some sort of normality to return to the town, reopening thanks to a tribe of D'ni dwarves that were shut out of Tojchiguel when the underground cities iron doors were sealed shut to prevent its inhabitants from being slaughtered by the encroaching undead hordes. The D'ni dwarves that were stranded sheltered in the mountains of Murdinga and unlike most of their kin, are more accustomed to the hospitality and strange folkways of other races. These D'ni are busy laying the groundwork to re-establish the mining trade and reopen as many of the old shafts into the base of the mountains as they can, as well as restart the steam railway that was abandoned  between their home city, Rangwei, Mount Wyong and all the way towards the Huon Valley where they originally tried to expand. Unfortunately, Kirabaru is plagued by bandits that tend to arrive wherever there's a hint of gold to be stolen, however the population has other concerns involving reconnection of its steam railway to the old cities as no one has been able to get in contact with the Thane of Tojchiguel and the Aristocracy of Rangwei since the war ended.
