(dexterity and survival proficiency)

Plutonians are originally a Human colony that settled on Pluto, just on the outer edges of their home galaxy, however within the last millennia have become their own unique race. Unlike most Human colonies, Bio engineering wasn't strictly regulated to helping planet diversity upon terraformation of their homeworld and gave rise to the unique ability to shift between a human and a hybrid beastal form to cope with the long winters on Pluto which occur for years at a time. They spliced various mammals into their genome so their winter forms have a great deal of species diversity and because of their human shapes they've been able to create hybrids of their own hybrid genetics. They get referred to as space age were creatures, though their winter shape only grants them an advantage in extreme cold conditions on their home world and not much else. Interestingly, the animal genes don't prevent them from having offspring with those who have a different winter shape to themselves which has allowed them to look like a mixture of creatures in their winter form (ex: Bear/wolf hybrids, Gorilla/tiger ect…) making new species and have a wide variety of fur colours, some found only on the Blue planet.

Humans from Earth find them fascinating, Martians dislike them because they broke the rules humanity has against genetic engineering and Venusopians admire them for breaking the law in order to survive in one of the galaxies harshest climates.
While they live on a cold dwarf planet, they do however have a great deal of unique life on the surface which thrives in the conditions - furs and fish are their main off world exports as well as water - and the light they receive is not from the sun, but from a specially designed UV light array which is powered by burning the planets waste making it also environmentally friendly for the planets inhabitants.

Special trait: Mammalian fur. Whenever the climate is dark or cold they automatically physically shift into their winter animal furs. They gain an advantage DC 20 roll in snow, blizzard or hailing weather conditions. However, due to their extra mammalian genetics they cannot tolerate extreme heat and have to roll a DC 20 disadvantage roll in desert, sand storm and tropical weather conditions.
